8/15/06 - An option was added to the Configuration screen which permits sharing of past or future appointment items. Before this release, and by design, PIMShare only shared appointment items which occurred chronologically on or after the present. The new "Publish future appointments only" option gives the user a choice. This new option is checked by default to maintain continuity with past behavior. Uncheck this option to share past or future appointment items. PLEASE NOTE: Unchecking this option will almost certainly cause performance degradation in Outlook as PIMShare will be gathering all past appointments for publishing. To offset this performance degradation, ensure you have configured Outlook to auto-archive past appointments to a folder other than your default Calendar folder. Backward compatible to v. 2.0.8.

2/7/05 - Improved "publisher last modification date" evaluation logic. This fixes the problem where some changes from updated appointment items don't get propagated from the publisher to the subscriber. Thanks, Toby, for reporting the bug (or, as some companies put it, "the feature"). Users of v. 2.0.8 are not required to upgrade to v. 2.0.9, although it is highly recommended. Backward compatibility to v. 2.0.8 has been implemented in build v. 2.0.9. However, the "feature" remains in v. 2.0.8.

6/23/04 - Several users have reported that Outlook becomes unresponsive for several seconds at regular processing intervals during PIMShare operation. It would appear that Outlook is "hung" but responsiveness would return to normal, until the next processing interval. We *think* we've fixed the problem. Let us know if you experienced this problem and this build fixed it.
