Jimmy is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in sustainable HVAC design for new construction and renovation projects of all sizes. With a background in architectural engineering, Jimmy considers the entire building system during design, allowing better coordination and collaboration with other disciplines to deliver an integrated solution for the client. He is well versed in the application of geothermal and geothermal-hybrid systems and understands that their proper sizing and layout require an astute engineering judgment and a thorough grasp of the owner’s goals for the project.
Working closely with the Page Building Sciences team, Jimmy has helped evolve the early energy modeling processes to enable a data driven design that focuses both the design team and the client.
With a passion for the renovation and restoration of existing buildings, Jimmy believes that in order to renovate a building he first has to understand the original architectural and engineering vision for it. This process allows the team to work within the original building paradigm, delivering a renovation that maximizes the potential for the existing building.
