Karen brings a valuable perspective to her work at Page – an architectural background combined with proven business skills. Her combined knowledge has given her the ability to offer a holistic point of view of the relationship between design and business.
Since joining the firm in 2014, Karen has successfully held several roles at Page that have advanced the firm’s marketing studio and business development practice. Her creativity and analytical skills have led her to her current responsibilities providing direction in operational best practices across all market sectors at Page. She applies her entrepreneurial approach in anticipating needs and building effective solutions to further the firm’s goals. As the firm’s Government Market Sector Manager, Karen is responsible for the strategic positioning of the firm’s Federal Government portfolio around the world.
Karen is integral to business development for the Page Austin office, which is consistently ranked the number one architecture firm in the region. In this capacity, she manages Page's local presence including representing the firm in the community. As a member of Urban Land Institute’s Regional Growth Local Member Council, Karen is engaged in the conversation with other local business leaders about developing innovative solutions for challenges and opportunities related to growth in the region.
Karen applies her leadership skills to multiple Page work groups and committees that foster the advancement of equity, diversity and inclusion and firm culture, as well as best practices in business development and operational processes.
Driven by her experiences and talents, Karen is eager to make lives better in the community around her. She sits on the Family Advisory Committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas and is regularly in their kitchen cooking meals for families with children in central Texas hospitals. Karen’s personal brand and Page’s are in alignment – Design that makes lives better.
