Creating a foundation for lifelong learning

Our academic team is a creative workshop of designers, campus planners, lab planners, programmers and engineers discovering design solutions that are particular and responsive to program, site, context and economics. Our PK12 team are subject matter experts who know and understand academics from the inside out. We understand the power of listening, and we excel at building consensus on projects with multiple stakeholders—from the institutional leaders, facility managers, project managers, faculty and students to the larger community.

Our approach to design is research-based and data driven with a firm belief that real architectural excellence comes not only from strength of form and visual character but also from creating effective, productive and inspiring places for individuals and institutions to achieve their goals and aspirations. The opportunity for life-long learning takes place in the home, childcare environment, school, college prep, and beyond. The connective goals throughout the Continuum of Learning holistically embody the values of community, safety, learning space, and collaboration.
