Winners of Commercial Real Estate Awards
Page is very proud to have two projects named winners in the Austin Business Journal 2017 Commercial Real Estate Awards. The annual event illustrates the concept of translating the value of design into dollars. The overall winner was the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) East Terminal Infill project, which touches just about everyone in Austin, including those only stopping by for a short visit. Forest Park Medical Center was lauded as a “truly impressive surgical hospital”.
The Page design team reshaped the entrance to the ABIA airport with a multistory windowed and colorful terminal that has won multiple awards for its focus on enhancing the passenger experience. Now, the additional 55,000 square feet includes a new passenger security screening checkpoint with an expandable number of lanes. A connection was added from the east ticket lobby to the concourse and a larger customs area was designed with the latest standards to improve passenger processing times.
Forest Park Medical Center was designed to be a state-of-the-art facility. The four-story hospital contains 40 suites, 10 operating rooms, two procedure rooms and six intensive-care rooms, plus adjacent parking garage. Now a fully functional facility, patients and guests can enjoy amenities such as a rooftop garden and wood-fired oven in the kitchen.
Congratulations to the Page design teams and project partners on these wins!
