As a female architect, Amanda Scott Martinez strives to design spaces that her mother would be proud of, inspired by and happy to live, work or play in. Amanda's mother had a great passion for the fact that a true work of art could lift someone's spirits, even on their darkest day. She is Amanda's motivation to make healthcare spaces an inspiration, not an institution.
Amanda's personal vision is to change the world for the better, one person at a time and she works for a firm that promises design that makes lives better. Her commitment to excellence extends to every related activity, whether it's rounding up AIA Emerging Professionals for tours, study groups or happy hours; whether it's completing a hardware schedule or selecting a color palette.
She specializes in interior architecture and is both a licensed architect and interior designer, which allows her to see a project inside out and outside in. Additionally, she is accredited as a LEED AP BD+C Professional and as an Evidence Based Healthcare Design Professional, which means she brings a wealth of perspectives and experience to client projects.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Abilene Christian University and her Masters of Architecture, specializing in Health Systems and Design, from the Texas A&M University College of Architecture. She is proud to be an Aggie, even in Austin, and enjoys remaining connected with the Interior Design program at Abilene Christian University by assisting students with career advice and networking opportunities.
