Senior Mechanical Designer
Gene Curtis grew up working in the family graphics / sign business in Arkansas and Hawaii. “I was around scales and drawings as far back as I can remember,” he says, “so drafting and design seemed like a natural choice as a career.” He joined Page in 2003 after working with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) for nine years. In addition to his experience at AMD, over the past 30 years Gene also has worked as a CAD Technician for Sematech, Motorola, and gained hands-on experience working as a PCB technician in the cleanroom at IBM.
As a Senior Mechanical Designer at Page, he is responsible for the design of HVAC and mechanical piping drawings and BIMs, primarily for data center, cleanroom, and hospital projects and provides Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD support. His career highlights include the mechanical construction documentation of several semiconductor manufacturing facilities including Sematech ATDF, AMD Fab25, Motorola MOS11, Samsung Austin Semiconductor Fab A1 Expansion/Fab A2, Intel Fab 28 in Qirat Gat, Israel, and the Finisar cleanroom facility in Sherman, Texas.
