Katie Badiyan AIA

Architect

Biography

Katie knew from an early age that she wanted to be an architect. As a toddler, she spent countless hours creating highly organized Lego buildings and then tearing them apart to make new ones. Throughout school, she was passionate about math and art.

In fact Katie was so dedicated to the idea of architecture that as a teenager, she spent two summers as an intern at local firms. The youngest employee by far Katie soaked it all in and ultimately attended an architecture summer camp at her father’s alma mater Notre Dame—also the home of Katie’s favorite football team. Katie graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Architecture and has six years of experience in the field of architecture and interior design. She has worked on a variety of projects at different stages including programming, planning, schematic design, design documents and construction documents.

Since joining Page in 2014, Katie has worked across our market sectors on projects ranging in scale from single-office spaces to multi-building campuses and luxury high-rise residential towers. Her projects in the corporate commercial sector include the National Domestic Violence Hotline Headquarters and TechSpace, a co-working space in Austin which was recognized with an IIDA Texas-Oklahoma Chapter 2017 Design Award.
