Page worked with BakerRipley to provide community engagement, building programming, and architectural design services for a 13,676 square foot expansion to their Cleveland Campus. The project is part of their 4-acre facility in Pasadena, Texas. BakerRipley prioritized comprehensive community engagement in the development of this community center project and Page worked closely with their team to develop engagement strategy, establish event agendas, and document community participation. The community engagement and building programming phase of the project included multiple targeted community member participation workshops, and intercept interviews out in the community. Building from the engagement efforts, the Page Team developed a comprehensive building expansion program and preliminary building concepts that trace directly to that community involvement. Other important goals indicated by the community included bringing the center closer to the street and being able to read the program from the outside of the building. With site planning and the preliminary project design approved by the Owner, Page developed design documents by working closely with BakerRipley and the Construction Manager at Risk.
