The client sought a cost-effective solution to consolidate administrative and field support operations personnel dispersed throughout the region into one corporate office/manufacturing campus for the Bakken Oil and Gas region. (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota). With growth projections of 10% for the next several years, the need for space was even more critical.

The new corporate office was centrally located in Sidney Montana to access limited regional resources while providing a hub for convenient access to the regions processing plants and pipelines. The dispersion of resources and personnel creates inefficiencies that hamper internal communications, operational efficiency, and productivity. These challenges, along with the desire by corporate leadership to enhance the image and presence of the organization in the community, drove the need for a new complex. The site chosen for the complex is a 20-acre industrial developed tract of land located approximately 2 miles south of town.

The complex consolidates all of the existing office, shop, storage, and pipe/laydown yard functions, with some anticipated space consolidation, decompression and expansion. The total projected space need for the facilities is approximately 61,000 GSF, with an estimated 9 acres for the pipe/laydown yard, and another 9.5 acres for parking, site detention and other required improvements. There is a 3.2 acre site identified for reserved for future development.
