The Biomedical Chemistry Institute set design standards for lab renovations at the neighboring Silver Building. The team created flexible space for expanding research groups and made central social areas visible along primary circulation routes. The glass enclosures offer natural daylight and create maximum visibility between lab bays. With science on display, visitors can spy students working on sophisticated innovations like carbohydrate-based cancer diagnostics and antimalarial drug development.
