Located in the heart of downtown Austin, Indeed Tower re-envisions an entire block with a new tower, a renovated historic Post Office, and a plaza. The new 36-story, glazed office tower is situated on the eastern portion of the block. Its sculptural form and transparent base allow the building to make a mark on the city’s skyline while also celebrating its historic neighbor.

This 36-story office tower is made up of 5 levels of below-grade parking, 12 above-grade parking garage levels, and 21 office levels. The office tower’s carefully sculpted design and prominent setting within the downtown core allow it to become an easily recognizable form on the Austin skyline visible from Austin’s primary circulation corridors. The office building lobby, with its 6th Street entrances as well as the entrance from Lavaca Street via the urban plaza, provide for a vibrant lobby with connections to downtown from any direction. The office building provides: office space on floor levels 16 to 3, lobby level retail including the historic restoration of the Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 17,000 SF urban plaza, fitness & amenity/conference space on levels 2 and 3, exterior terraces (balconies) on approximately half of the office floor levels, penthouse roof terrace at office levels 35-36

The Claudia Taylor Johnson (CTJ) Hall, originally constructed from 1912 to 1914, is carefully engaged by the office building and on-site urban plaza to allow the CTJ to tell its story. The non-historic elements of the interiors were removed with the intention of delivering the space in historically accurate shell condition for its intended retail use.

The project achieved LEED Core & Shell v4 Platinum certification from the United States Green Building Council as well as an Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB) Commercial Rating 4 Star and Fitwel 1 Star certification.
