The 19-story UT System Replacement Office Building is located in downtown Austin on state-owned land along 7th Street, maintaining the existing proximity to UT Austin and the Texas Capitol. When complete, it will become the consolidated facility for all departments that make up the University of Texas System Administration.

Page partnered with UT System to deliver a Class A high-rise office building that met developer-led industry construction standards and commercial market construction costs. In concert with this effort, Page experts in workplace innovation and organization helped the client rethink the way in which discrete departments share space and to ensure that the building provided an optimized floor plate for maximum flexibility both from first occupancy and into the long-range life of the facility. The new efficient facility is projected to save $2-$5 million annually and generate net present value savings of over $50 million in the next 30 years.

The completed structure will include approximately 365,000 gross square feet of office space along with eight levels of above-grade parking and one level of below-grade secured parking, providing about 725 spaces. The building will include offices for the Chancellor and Board of Regents, a central conference facility adapted for videoconferencing, a 200-seat boardroom, a large multi-purpose presentation space, UT System office and meeting space, an employee wellness center, and limited retail space at the ground level. LEED Silver certification.
