Community colleges are constantly expanding their programs to support opportunities for students and faculty. In the heart of Downtown Dallas is a 1930s-era building, once home to Paramount Pictures, that is currently occupied by the Dallas College's Health Sciences Center.

The fifth floor of this facility is being renovated to relocate the Dental Hygiene Center. This new space will allow for room to grow and improved space for student support, teaching, and clinical care. The design includes a 20-seat dental clinic, lab, classrooms, student lounge, and faculty suite to meet the needs of a 21st century dental hygiene program. Once complete, the renovation will increase the available space for the program by 35%. The project will continue supporting Dallas College’s vision for a comprehensive allied health center and improve the community's health.
