Jose Varela

Originally from Chile, Jose brings an international perspective shaped by his experiences living in Latin America, Asia, and now the U.S.  Jose focuses on translating architectural concepts into physical forms through model making and prototyping. He is energized by the intersection of design and digital fabrication, especially how digital technology facilitates iterative making. Guided by research and experimentation, Jose brings his design passion to projects of all scales. He is a recent graduate of the Tulane School of Architecture, where he cultivated interests in CNC digital fabrication, urban design, and visual communication.
