Design diplomacy

U.S. embassies and consulates play a critical role on the world stage, serving as a physical representation of our democratic values to the world. For over 30 years and in more than 120 countries, Page has worked with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations to design, upgrade, and preserve these important facilities. The secure, flexible, and high-tech campuses promote our diplomatic missions, protect our citizens, and respect the local history, culture, and environment of our partner countries.

While embassies and consulates are symbols of American democracy abroad, they are also the homes and workplaces for U.S. diplomats. Our designs carefully balance the need for security with features that maximize occupant comfort and well-being.
