Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center highlight our focus on patient experience—designing serene spaces, such as private infusion rooms and tranquil public areas, that inspire hope and healing.

Cancer is personal, and the facilities where it’s treated should be, too. We design cancer treatment areas to offer private rooms and communal spaces, allowing patients individual agency regarding how they want to be treated and receive care. Consolidated services and easy wayfinding help ease the cancer care landscape, and a design approach that prioritizes biophilic access to natural light and the outdoors supports treatment and recovery.
