At 300 Main, San Antonio’s energy meets elevated living. Towering above downtown, Page designed two interlocking towers that house 350 thoughtfully designed residences, a sprawling amenity deck on level seven, and a sky deck on level 25 with sweeping views of the city.
At street level, vibrant retail spaces and a welcoming porte-cochère create a seamless connection to the neighborhood. The building’s dark brick, steel, and glass exterior reflects San Antonio’s architectural heritage while embracing a modern, refined aesthetic.
Inside, classic materials like plaster and wood flooring pair with contemporary steel and glass, striking a balance between warmth and sophistication. A contextual brick parking podium blends effortlessly into the cityscape while providing over 450 spaces.
300 Main is a bold, dynamic addition to downtown, designed for those who want to live at the center of it all.
Community & transit
300 Main seamlessly blends history with modern urban living, honoring the iconic Milam Building while embracing the energy of downtown San Antonio. Thoughtfully designed masonry complements the city’s architectural character, reinforcing a sense of place, connection, and preservation.
Prioritizing people over cars, the ground level creates an inviting pedestrian experience with welcoming seating and vibrant gathering spaces. A beautifully designed plaza fosters interaction, making it a destination for residents, visitors, and the local community.
Strategically located in the heart of downtown, 300 Main offers unmatched accessibility, boasting a Walk Score of 90 (“Walker’s Paradise”) and a Transit Score of 85 (“Excellent”), with a city bus stop on-site. Sustainable mobility is a priority, featuring ample exterior bike racks, a Swell Cycle bikeshare station, and 56 secure bike parking spaces for residents.

Framing an artful interior
In the lobby, steel accentuates the monumental mosaic sculptural triptych by Oscar Alvarado. Dalle de verre slabs cast amber and forest green reflections, and the eagle-eyes observer will notice fragments of transfer wear, bottles, and other ephemera that was located during site excavation.
Energy & performance
300 Main sets a new standard in energy efficiency, designed with sustainability at its core. Targeting an Energy Use Intensity (EUI) of 15—well below the Architecture 2030 Challenge benchmark of 35—the tower prioritizes performance without compromise.
A high-performance building envelope enhances efficiency, featuring advanced U-factors for glazing and superior R-values for the opaque façade. These elements work together to reduce energy consumption while maintaining architectural integrity. To further optimize long-term sustainability and efficiency, an in-depth evaluation of HVAC systems ensures the ideal balance of performance and lifecycle cost.
A central gas-fired domestic hot water loop delivers greater efficiency than individual unit water heaters, while Energy Star appliances in each residence help minimize plug-load energy use. Every detail is designed to reinforce a commitment to smarter, more sustainable living.

Responsible materials sourcing
300 Main is purpose-built—prioritizing sustainability, transparency, and responsible sourcing at every level. Locally sourced materials with high recycled content ensure a reduced environmental footprint while maintaining quality and integrity.
Aligned with LEED standards, the building incorporates materials with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and ingredient transparency, meeting materials and resources credit requirements. This thoughtful selection promotes a healthier, more sustainable built environment.
To further minimize environmental impact, Page conducted a LEED-compliant Whole-Building Lifecycle Assessment (WBLCA) to evaluate structural and cladding elements—benchmarking global warming potential and embodied carbon performance. These insights guided smarter material choices, reducing the project’s overall carbon footprint.

Branding
Page’s BXGD team crafted the brand identity for 300 Main, drawing inspiration from the building’s height and its transformative presence in downtown San Antonio. The concept of elevation is embedded in the wordmark itself, symbolizing the building’s role in raising the bar for urban living. A subtle stencil detail in the numeral nods to papel picado, blending local cultural cues with modern design. The accompanying brand pattern reflects the tower’s elongated form and takes cues from interior materials, uniting architecture and identity into a cohesive visual language.
Interiors
300 Main offers a curated living experience where design, art, and materials tell a story — honoring San Antonio’s rich character while embracing modern sophistication. Led by Page, the interior design seamlessly integrates furniture, art, and accessories, ensuring every element aligns with the overall vision. 300 Main’s public spaces feature eye-catching commissioned artworks by local artists Oscar Alvarado and Lionel Sosa. These installations serve as bold focal points, deeply rooted in San Antonio’s culture and identity, dynamically bridging past and present.
