Fastworks Advanced Manufacturing Works Conceptual Design Study
The GE FastWorks facility in Greenville, South Carolina, is a dynamic hub for innovation in action. Designed to support multiple business divisions, it brings advanced manufacturing and product development into full view, aligning with GE’s vision for “innovation on display.”
Three glass-enclosed, environmentally controlled research pods sit alongside a full-width lobby, transforming the space into an interactive experience. This transparency not only highlights leading-edge discovery and testing but also fuels collaboration among GE engineers, designers, customers, students, and industry partners. The result is a facility that seamlessly breaks down barriers between research and real-world application, making the innovation process more accessible, engaging, and dynamic.
By merging technology, transparency, and collaboration, the FastWorks facility redefines how research and development spaces can inspire the next generation of breakthroughs.
