The Holdsworth Center
As a purpose-driven nonprofit, The Holdsworth Center provides world-class leadership programs for Texas public school educators and district leaders at its Lake Austin Campus—a training headquarters that also serves as a restorative retreat. Page partnered with The Holdsworth Center to establish its brand identity, develop a compelling positioning and messaging platform, and design a comprehensive experiential graphics and placemaking program.
A visual identity that brings the mission to life
The logomark’s dynamic form symbolizes continuous growth, improvement, and innovation. Its three shapes reflect the organization’s core values: service, belief in people, and the pursuit of excellence and equity. Brand motifs derived from the mark are woven throughout the experiential graphics program, reinforcing the organization’s mission and strength.
The brand kit includes a badge featuring two half circles—symbolizing the site’s natural elements, the sun and water—framing the positioning statement, “Public Education Holds Worth.” This honors Mary Elizabeth Holdsworth, the organization’s namesake, a former schoolteacher, and lifelong advocate for social justice, and places mission front and center.

As visitors explore the campus, they encounter a series of quotes and messages that embody the Holdsworth ethos. Thoughtfully located in unexpected locations, these placemaking elements use a variety of materials and scales to create moments of discovery and lasting impact.
The social hub, Charlie’s Place, features its name spelled out in the nautical flag alphabet, sandblasted directly into the concrete countertop. This detail pays tribute to the namesake’s favorite hobby while celebrating the project’s waterfront location.
