The new Central State Hospital reflects Virginia’s focus on providing high-quality, recovery-based behavioral health treatment. By prioritizing safety, flexibility, and dignity, Page’s design supports wellness and security with 252 beds, serving civil and maximum-security needs.

In 1980, Page developed the Laureate Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic’s Campus Master Plan to provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, incorporating both indoor and outdoor therapy spaces. More recently, Page designed a free-standing research building for the partnering Laureate Institute for Brain Research (LIBR), featuring two functional MRI suites, clinic and research areas, and shell space for future expansion. 

Spanning 450,000 square feet, the Nixon Forensic Center at Fulton State Hospital redefines psychiatric care, seamlessly balancing safety, rehabilitation, and innovation. As the oldest mental health facility west of the Mississippi, Fulton sought to transform its campus, enhancing security while promoting recovery for 300 forensic psychiatric inpatients. 

The Brain Performance Institute, part of UT Dallas’ Center for BrainHealth, redefines how we stimulate, train, and enhance the brain. Designed for patients, researchers, and the broader community, the facility blends leading-edge neuroscience with human-centered design to optimize cognitive performance.
