U.S. Military Academy
The oldest continuously operating Army post in the United States, West Point’s primarily Gothic Revival campus is a designated National Historic Landmark District. For more than 15 years, Page partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the modernization, preservation, and restoration of many of the Academy’s most historically significant structures.
From academic and military training spaces to residential, recreational, and religious facilities, Page delivered modern buildings that respect military tradition. Our work included historic cadet barracks, Grant Mess Hall, Cadet Chapel, West Point Cemetery, athletic facility upgrades, a new Soldier Recovery Unit, and stabilization of the Warner House on Constitution Island, West Point’s oldest building. We also renovated seven historic officers’ quarters as well as non-commissioned officer housing.
Guided by our Performance by Design approach, we integrated high-performing solutions that enhance functionality, sustainability, and resilience so these historic structures can serve West Point’s mission for generations to come.
Cadet barracks
At the cadet buildings facing the central campus area and main parade grounds, Page repaired and restored the exterior stone facades and parapets and upgraded the interiors for current use and code compliance. Rehabilitation work focused on improving the quality of housing for cadets by upgrading interior features, correcting structural deficiencies, and improving energy efficiency.
