Proctor & Gamble Gillette Planta Milenio
Procter & Gamble’s Planta Milenio is a model for efficiency, sustainability, and employee well-being. As P&G’s first fully sustainable manufacturing plant in Latin America, the 1,130,000-square-foot facility was designed to support high-volume production while creating a healthier, more productive work environment. Page, in collaboration with Arup, delivered the project on a fast-track timeline, completing it within two years.
Designed to accommodate 3,000 employees across three shifts, the facility integrates manufacturing, packaging, and shipping within a seamless operational flow. A central spine connects the basic operations area and packing center, ensuring direct communication between production, facility management, and testing labs. The flexible infrastructure allows P&G to adapt to evolving technologies and production strategies, reinforcing long-term efficiency.
With daylight studies proving the benefits of natural light on productivity, the design incorporates skylights and controlled sunlight integration, reducing energy consumption while improving employee satisfaction. A gym, cafeteria, running path, and soccer field further promote wellness.
