Space Needs Assessment
The University of Missouri wanted to understand how its campus spaces could better support its ambitious goals. Page’s Space Needs Assessment provided essential insights to facilitate the MizzouForward initiative, a transformational effort to advance research and discovery at the University.
Page analyzed the entire campus ecosystem—focusing on research spaces and core facilities—to support plans for 150 new research faculty and 150 supporting staff. The team delivered:
- Comprehensive utilization data by space type and college
- A classroom and lab assessment with demand analysis
- Research facility suitability findings
- Workplace strategies for remote and hybrid staff
- Recommendations for creating consistent student experiences across campus
Our work equipped Mizzou to pursue the required funding for new and upgraded scientific facilities and instrumentation throughout campus and positioned the University to attract top faculty and staff candidates for MizzouForward.
