Workplace Strategy
Virginia Tech needed to maximize its existing space while boosting vibrancy, sense of place, and collaboration.
Page performed a comprehensive space assessment for the Division of Information Technology. The team examined facilities across the campus and surrounding neighborhoods to:
- Consolidate scattered leases
- Enhance division connections
- Address accessibility challenges
- Strengthen departmental adjacencies
Through collaborative workshops with university stakeholders, the team created a shared vision that embeds collaboration and quiet zones in workspaces that meet operational benchmarks.
As part of a second space assessment for the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, Page developed a reallocation plan that leveraged the recently renovated Memorial Gymnasium to create stronger departmental synergies. The plan also identified departments in need of expansion, setting the stage for strategic growth.
